sad and scary. literally 2 blocks from my house. be safe out there ladies.
i used to feel safe walking around this area at night and now i’ll be a little more wary. but really, this could happen anywhere, to any woman - the fact that it did happen in my own neighborhood at 9:30PM (at a time where i’m often walking to CVS or walking home from the blue line) just confirms the fact that we are never safe in this fucked up stupid scary rape culture world.
